The Abominatron EP

This debut album from west-country based pianist and producer, Jim Godfrey, is a subtle blend of piano and electronica, navigating a sonic journey through the City by the Bay and surrounding areas. From The Tenderloin, to Route 101 and the Zodiac, 7 new tracks explore through the light and darkness of the city, blending lo-fi piano and wurlys, pulsing synths, ambient textures, deep beats and crisp guitars to create a genuinely unique musical experience. Inspired by a 5-year stretch in the US, San Francisco is a culmination of a year-long exploration in composition, sound design, and out-of the box recording techniques.
