Label + event series run by otis, Slagwerk operates as a platform primarily focussing on contemporary experimental music and digital art. Besides organizing events, they present themselves as a music label. Their aesthetic ranges from metamodern internetculture to endeavours into spiritual ambiences contaminated with strikingly metallic club environments.

So-called Australia’s, Gillielove melds the energy of a dancefloor through storytelling. Now based in Paris, Gillie works hypnotic grooves, dancehall rhythms, broken percussions, oddball electronics and all things experimental into a dancer’s revel. Moving through a range of styles and bpms. 

A long-time staple of many a dancefloor in Sydney, Gillie started their journey recording mixes at home in 2020 before curating the Off Duty show on beloved independent station Nomad Radio and hosting artists like Mike Midnight, Sina, Ivy and Oliver Kay. Gillie has also recorded mixes for Rinse France, Kiosk, Noods, Lyl Radio, Triple J, Steeplejack, Pure Space, Transitions, Theory Therapy and Bleus.

Gillie played the first editions of now iconic Gadigal (Sydney) based DIY party series run by Boof, General Merchant and Bump. 

In 2023, Off Duty ran it’s first event in collaboration with Tripl0cate Boorloo and hosted Dj Fart in the Club, Deep Creep, Toni Yotzi, Mike Midnight and Lia T.

Avec « Par-delà les sens », le DJ Atavi lance son nouveau label Essential Delights Records. Pour cette première sortie prévue le 28 octobre, 19 artistes de la scène française sont rassemblé·es à travers 16 tracks de techno mentale et hypnotique, trance, bass deep et expérimentales. On y retrouve notamment Hayashi, 44hz & Soām, LITTLEFISH, Catartsis, mais aussi de jeunes talents issus de collectifs émergents.

Aujourd’hui, on vous dévoile la track d’intro de la compilation, « Bestiary of the Enchanted Forest », fruit de la collaboration de Drawbridge et Pal Parallax. Avec une inspiration dub très claire, les deux producteurs ont mélangé leurs univers en expérimentant autour d’une ligne de basse jouée au Moog, sur laquelle se posent différentes textures, éléments harmoniques et même une voix énumérant des bestioles imaginaires.

À travers ses projets, le label cherche à se concentrer sur des sonorités mentales et prône des ponts entre les genres, se détachant des tracks purement pensées pour le dancefloor.
