Bio : 
Jiman, whose real name is Jimmy, grew up in the north of France. 
It is therefore natural that he discovered electronic music as a teenager, thanks to the tremendous amount of night clubs that existed at the time on the Belgian border. 

Around the same time, he purchased his first turntables and started to hang around the numerous record shops in the area. He began to practice on his djaying skills relentlessly, and naturally started production later on.

In 2015, he released his first techno record on the label of the Parisian record shop SYNCROPHONE. 
Several vinyl release followed on MIZE records, FORSAKEN CELL and Marcelus' highly regarded SINGULAR label. 

In 2017, he founded Pærer records with 3 of his friends, a label aiming for the experimental side of Techno; today 8 releases strong.

Shortly after founding Pærer records, Jiman joined Eingang Bookings, a booking agency based in Berlin. Not long after he joined, he played the legendary Tresor club. 

Then came covid, an opportunity for Jimmy to create his first album PANDO, still available in record shops and on many digital platforms. A turn is gradually happening in the sound of his productions, techno is a bit put aside, he begins to flirt with ambient and idm. 

A couple of weeks ago, his 2nd album "Ousland Melodies" was released. The latter reflects well this evolution, diving into it we discover an icy pre-apocalyptic universe. A setting in sound of a voyage of 2 men on the ice floe reporting the severity of the situation. Ousland Melodies is the cry of a polar bear that we do not hear.... 

More recently, he launched  a new live project, once again the barriers between Ambient and Techno are blurred between emotions and urgency
