The past year has seen Swiss producer Lemonick rise from relative obscurity to the fore of the club music world, releasing efforts on Nervous Horizons, Clubwerks and Car Crash Set, all while cultivating a bare bones, hybrid style that’s almost immediately recognizable. “Locked Groove” represents his arrival in the Symbols Download Series, a track that balances the rambunctious feeling of East Coast club forms with a serious, spaced out sense of sound design, all topped off with enough lick-driven funk flair to keep you moving throughout.

The prolific Drae Da Skimask follows up three long-form projects for the Astral Black label with his 6-track 'Ficante' EP, an unpredictable, high-tempo experiment from the young London producer. An ode to the influence of Rio's Baile Funk & the Teklife sound on his productions - tipping a hat to soul, RnB and 90's rave on the way.

'Ficante' see Drae briefly step outside of the realms of the slow-mo trap productions he has so effortlessly finessed, applying those same production techniques to the more hard hitting club sounds he is fast becoming known for combining into his DJ sets. These 6 tracks are the sound of a young producer growing up in one of the most multi-cultural cities in the world and allowing himself to absorb the sounds around him and the cities he has been taking his music too.

'Ficante' drops in full Feb 10th, followed an full-length later this year.
