Jaime Merlo a.k.a JimiTheGenius is a South Florida producer, remixer and dj that has leaped into the Worldwide Bass Music spotlight for countless years now. With his dope productions covering everything from modern day Miami Bass, Electro, Booty and Techno. His Miami Electro Bass sound, is a unique style of low end mixed with his dirty Kuad dropping futuristic sounds. For years now, his one of a kind JTG remixes have been known to help dj's get the party started off right. He has played throughout the East and West coast, while holding down the South at all the various massive shows 
throughout the country.

In 2003, Jimi joined forces with his good friend Richard Zarate a.k.a. Ashrock, to form Hydraulix aka Hydroz. Their first commercial release as 
Hydraulix, which was released on their self owned imprint (co-owned with Dj Merlyn), @kuadrecordings The buzz which “The Hydraulix E.P.” generated, was unimaginable and props began to role in for the duo. They've been a staple in the Miami Bass Electro scene and their Bass bumpin beats with their dirty low end, have been damaging dance floors worldwide for decades now. 

In 2009, Jimi joined forces once again with Supernaut, to form $uper Geniu$. They both have been dropping straight Miami Bass x Breaks heat for years now, up and down the East coast and at festivals like EDC Orlando, FSOB, and Culture's Candyland festival to name a few. 

JimiTheGenius and his low end sound, has quickly become a worldwide favorite in Bass music. And one can only ensure that his sound will continue to push the low end boundaries through out the world of music.
