The identification of the mysterious Tech-Funk sound was one of his finest achievements as everybody from the far-away edges of Aqupuncture kingdom tried to come to Gorogonza just to listen and “breath” this new sound! A powerful yet funky n' twisted sound that has nothing in common with the ordinary......new servants created in the deep down darkness of his Lab, ALEX CLUBBERS, SONEK, THEC4, THE LUCKY 23 and the list grows and grows and grows......till the Tech-Funk master decided to travel far-away, into the mystic swamp kingdom of Tarzan Lopez!

This Mix started based on a Tweet by Actress Danielle Harris from Halloween who was looking for some good Southern Miami aka Booty Music. When I started to search I was disappointed by all these Weak Wack Djs who claimed they had the dopest mixes with the sorriests Atl, Tag Team and Quad City Djs songs claiming all that. The truth of the matter that IS NOT Miami Booty Music!
So eventhough I spin Trance & House now I still grew up in MIAMI and as corny as Vanilla Ice said it, he was right "My Town That Created All The Bass Sound"
I set out to give U the Ultimate Miami's Doppest & Baddest AsS Shaking BasS Booming Tracks on the Planet!

Jaime Merlo a.k.a JimiTheGenius is a South Florida producer, remixer and dj that has leaped into the Worldwide Bass Music spotlight for countless years now. With his dope productions covering everything from modern day Miami Bass, Electro, Booty and Techno. His Miami Electro Bass sound, is a unique style of low end mixed with his dirty Kuad dropping futuristic sounds. In 2003, Jimi joined forces with his good friend Richard Zarate a.k.a. Ashrock, to form Hydraulix aka Hydroz. Their first commercial release as 
Hydraulix, which was released on their self owned imprint (co-owned with Dj Merlyn), @kuadrecordings The buzz which “The Hydraulix E.P.” generated, was unimaginable and props began to role in for the duo. They've been a staple in the Miami Bass Electro scene and their Bass bumpin beats with their dirty low end, have been damaging dance floors worldwide for decades now. 

In 2009, Jimi joined forces once again with Supernaut, to form $uper Geniu$. They both have been dropping straight Miami Bass x Breaks heat for years now, up and down the East coast and at festivals like EDC Orlando, FSOB, and Culture's Candyland festival to name a few. 

JimiTheGenius and his low end sound, has quickly become a worldwide favorite in Bass music. And one can only ensure that his sound will continue to push the low end boundaries through out the world of music.
