Straight from Miami, Florida (the undisputed home of the 808 kick drum) comes Hydraulix. The of the most talked about and exciting Electro-Bass group to hit the Electro scene. Utilizing futuristic beats with an emphasis on dirty ass bass, their tracks are set to destroy dance floors worldwide.

Richard Ash-Rock Zarate and Jaime JimiTheGenius Merlo have been dropping bass in their DJ sets for years (most notably as resident DJs for world renowned Culture Productions), all the while drawing from their childhood influences (2 Live Crew, Debonaire Records, Cut It Up Def Records, MC A.D.E, and Maggatron to name a few) to create a unique, dance floor friendly hybrid of Electro and Bass. Ash-Rock and JimiTheGenius then set their sights on conquering the world of production. Once they were comfortable with the knowledge that they had acquired from Merlyn a Breakbeat ambassador and Xerodefx . They quickly began banging out some of the sickest floor bombs on their co-owned label with Merlyn, which is Kuad Recordings. For Hydraulix, these to young stars have a bright future from the city of boom where they reside.

Walton Beach, Florida on September 17, 1984, Jim Funk, so named by Dustin C member of Lab Man Records after his crazy style of funky music merged with today's Dark bass and Pretty styles. Always playing the new top and underground HEAT! He has been professionally producing since the age of 18 (2003) and has DJ'd in clubs like Club La Vela, The Swamp, Rock Star, NightTown, House of Blues, Club LA, Spinnaker Beach Club,District Night Club, Festivals and local bars around the United States. To the date he continues to produce and play all style music. Curently he is on Gigabeat Records, Gigabeat nights record label, Genuine Debbie D Records, Kaleidoscope MUSIC, Therabeat Records  with remixes on Nolabeat records. He is also the founder and CEO of Bass-A-holix Anonymous Ent. To date he is charting one of the highest in beatport in Breakbeats and Trap. Jaime Merlo a.k.a JimiTheGenius is a South Florida producer, remixer and dj that has leaped into the Worldwide Bass Music spotlight for countless years now. With his dope productions covering everything from modern day Miami Bass, Electro, Booty and Techno. His Miami Electro Bass sound, is a unique style of low end mixed with his dirty Kuad dropping futuristic sounds. In 2003, Jimi joined forces with his good friend Richard Zarate a.k.a. Ashrock, to form Hydraulix aka Hydroz. Their first commercial release as 
Hydraulix, which was released on their self owned imprint (co-owned with Dj Merlyn), @kuadrecordings The buzz which “The Hydraulix E.P.” generated, was unimaginable and props began to role in for the duo. They've been a staple in the Miami Bass Electro scene and their Bass bumpin beats with their dirty low end, have been damaging dance floors worldwide for decades now. 

In 2009, Jimi joined forces once again with Supernaut, to form $uper Geniu$. They both have been dropping straight Miami Bass x Breaks heat for years now, up and down the East coast and at festivals like EDC Orlando, FSOB, and Culture's Candyland festival to name a few. 

JimiTheGenius and his low end sound, has quickly become a worldwide favorite in Bass music. And one can only ensure that his sound will continue to push the low end boundaries through out the world of music.
