Draw the Sun is taken from the forthcoming album Dark by The Sigh Company. Written by Saul Behan-Dunne the song questions the reasoning of sending young men to war at the behest of people in power. It is a melodic guitar driven track featuring a vocal by Andrea Marina and Saul Behan-Dunne that sets the responsibility of sending our sons to war squarely on the shoulders of the fervently patriotic and asks the question, Could we ever just leave them alone?

You draw the sun from the sky with your faith in the lies of the people who need you to roll out their crimes as you stand in the street with your head held high coz the men of your country fought with such pride you might cast your thoughts to the darkening of hearts in the brotherhood of man torn apart for the belief that conflict is a worthwhile pursuit when you're rewarded with a folded flag and a rifled salute aimed at the eye of the sun
