8 years back Van Bonn mixed his first podcast for Deep Afterhour. To celebrate his latest release ‚Dual‘ he got in the studio for another mixing session to create another Deep Afterhour. His new release Dual is the first collaborational release on Van Bonn Records that was created by the long time friends Van Bonn and Tim Kossmann. Besides the three original tunes took dub techno monolith Steve O’Sullivan over the remix controls. The release is now available on clear bright green vinyl, download and on streaming platforms. Enjoy the podcast that features not only some of the tunes of the release but also other dubbed out vibes in between relaxation and groove without losing deepness out of sight.

Tha Noota started her dj path during the pandemic in 2020. Her purpose was just to listen to her favourite music on a different level and to be able to create her own mixes. After 2 months of learning she got a chance to play in a local club in Olsztyn, where she is based. Since then she plays regularly in her hometown as well as in other polish cities, practicing her skills and widening selection. She's especially bonded with dub techno but she explores deep/hypnotic techno, ambient and house music too. Besides djing she's also actively involved in creating local electronic music scene, organising parties known as Feed Your Soul Events (https://www.facebook.com/feedyoursoulevents). Her aim is to bring less popular music genres, like ambient or experimental, to the small city of Olsztyn. In the mix for DTTV she highlighted some of her favourite tracks from the past 2 years.

Kerstin Saidykhan aka Sai is a music nerd since her teens, influenced by many such as postpunk, dark wave through ska, jungle, dnb and techno. Her interest in electronic music began in the mid-90s during her social work studies, which led to her writing her thesis on Techno Culture in Germany. Dancehall and Jamaican Soundsystem culture were also a big influence on her, after she visited Jamaica twice in the late 90s. She moved to Berlin in 2001 and came into contact with the rhythm and sound vibe that immediately resonated with her. she. Sai loves creating deep atmospheric mixes around dub techno, deep house, often seasoned with some broken beats or other experimental electronic stuff. At the center of it all is the attraction of the dub scene in general, which she likes to examine in all its facets and potentials.

For the 42nd instalment of the Mosaic Mix Series we head down under for a heady mix of deep and dubby cuts from Australian DJ, Dave Stuart. 

Describing himself as a “ DJ / Record Store owner & event promoter from Sydney” Dave has been a mainstay in the local scene for many years. He has been running in parties in Sydney for over a decade and is a co-founder of Something Else, a project that has invited the likes of Norman Nodge, Answer Code Request  and DJ Deep, amongst many others,  to play. 

In 2018 Something Else expanded and opened a record store under the same name, Something Else Records. Focused primarily on the sound that you would find at the Something Else parties , Something Else Records proudly carries exclusively electronic music across the house, techno and electro spectrum.

From the early days of the free party scene from brickworks to caves to beaches Ive been there filling generaters banging tent pegs ,laying cables carrying soundsystems  known as "Jim the WaterMan" wandering the party with a waterbutt and cup on a string hydrating party people for fun and spliffs,to making music with 303s samplers and drum machines,putting on Chill Sites at festivals in Tipis djing till dawn,to having a little club in our bassment with brick dj booth, to being in bands nobody heard of playing keyboards,to ,moving to Manchester partying at Bugged out ,to having our own collective putting party nighs on ,to moving to the countryside ,to having an accident  having to walk with sticks no more dancing the night away,so here still djing in my living room with cool tunes I find with my family and cats keeping it real,I do the mixes for me to play in our van and my workshop,I love to share them with you and to bigup the talented folk who make the tunes ,theres so much cool music out there,Im just doing my bit.Enjoy life its the only one you have :}Jim.....
