1985, Small-town America. Every Friday night, five inseparable friends gather in Jake’s basement for their weekly Dungeons & Dragons session. There’s Jake, the Dungeon Master with a storyteller’s soul; Sam, the group’s sharp-minded strategist; Eric, the walking encyclopedia of monsters; Lisa, the fearless warrior; and Ben, the dreamer, the one who plays Korrak, a barbarian of legendary strength.

But tonight, the game is about to change forever.

Jake introduces a mysterious new artifact: the Dice of Fate. As he reads an incantation from a dusty old game supplement, the candle flames flicker wildly. A shadow slithers across the table. Ben rolls his twenty-sided die… and then everything explodes into blinding white light.

When the glow fades, Ben is gone.

He wakes up beneath a blood-red moon, his body no longer his own. He is Korrak now, trapped in a brutal, nightmare world. Meanwhile, back in the real world, his friends scramble to understand what just happened and, more importantly, how to bring him home.

Told over eight chapters, each with its own eerie, music-infused pulse, Dice of doom is a blend of epic fantasy and adventure, leading to an open-ended conclusion that hints at something even darker lurking ahead.
