If UK vibes are your jam we've got some honey for you. Coming off the back of his recent Punks Music release 'Wiggle', Englishman Jimmy Le Mac explores his deep, dark break infused roots in the monster double A-side.  

Gliding mono bass with creepy resonance floats around the room on 'Gundo'. Swung against the chopped up percussion.  'She Works' collapses on you like an aural avalanche. Thumping 808 bass and warped up samples oscillate in between a twerky techno beat.

Dan McKie & Luis Meza link up for a hit new single entitled Cosmic Rest Face on McKie's own 33 Music label, with a remix from Noble North. This isn’t the first time both Dan and Luis have linked up, their previous release ‘Ayahuasca’ was subject to mega support from some of the biggest players in the industry, most notably Carl Cox who supported during his Defected live stream set back in May.

Cosmic Rest Face is a superb seven-minute track with bubbling drums and synths pumping the party. It is a real energy-riddled cut with astral synths and melodies that have you tripping from start to finish. It shows off yet another side to the ever-excellent McKie and Meza combination.

Noble North, who’s been a regular in the Beatport charts, has received profound support from Carl Cox and Mark Knight among others, is on remix duties. The remix itself is of a  dark, tight undertone and is a proper heads-down roller. A pumping kick drum and big icy hi-hats all working you into a lather.

This is another winning EP from 33 Music.

The nights run late, and they often feature big hitters from abroad, but it’s the trusted residents and their loyal fanbase that give Revolver Upstairs its tight-knit community vibe. 

Revolver Upstairs staple Henry Who put together a mix to showcase the sound of the venue, laying down a stack of smoky, late-night house cuts that left us yearning for the dancefloor.
