World 1-2 is an album that features renowned game composers alongside the remixers that pay them tribute. It features original music by grammy-nominated Austin Wintory (Journey), Manami Matsumae (MegaMan), and celebrated remixers Stemage and Danimal Cannon (Metroid Metal), among many more. 

World 1-2 is a music project directed and produced by Mohammed Taher of Koopa Soundworks. It's a collaboration album that combines young independent musicians with superstar composers from the video game industry. World 1-2 features a unique blend of original creations and nostalgia-dipped remixes. All proceeds generated from this album will go toward funding new projects by Koopa Soundworks. Me and a few others were asked to compose some songs for a collaboration hack over at the Super Mario World ROM hacking community, and this is what I came up with. A cover of Buoy Base Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy. This cover was finished back in June, but Cohones' debut album was pushed back to accommodate for other members. This version is different from the one that appears on the album: this version was rendered to fit my channel's standards regarding loop counts, whilst the album version (and the rest of the album, no less) was mixed by amphobius.

Sonic the Hedgehog (16-Bit) - Scrap Brain [MasterSystem/GameGear Remix]

Not much to say this time around. It's a Saturn-styled remix of Diamond Dust Zone ACT 2, and I've been working on this for.. about a week now?

As for the art, I did a thing of Nova as a Sonic X styled character, liked it, didn't have anything else for the cover art, so.. There it is. Also, logo. ....Hope you guys like it?

So this in my perspective is a good future track because of the up beatness of the song. I took a lot of inspiration from funk fiction.

Another Shovel Knight cover. I've been trying to get a working sound out of this track for a while. This track took a different approach for me. Gone are the guitar sounds I've used before. Replacing them is the DAC channel using a randomized custom waveform. The original chipset for the Genesis could be jerryrigged to play more than one sample at the same time, so this one is playing three or four depending on the situation. Drums are them FM and Noise based. I like the sound alot and I'll be remembering it for later tracks.
