"One gray lockdown night, I was sitting on FaceTime with my girlfriend reflecting on our relationship. I remember distinctly saying our love being kind of like a movie, the way we just feel so together and in our own little bubble like you see on the big screen. And the next day, 'Movies' was born, literally 12 hours later. The track is just a perfect reflection of my feelings to her, the ups and downs in the drops reflecting our happy moments and sad times, pitch falling emotional vocal chops representing those moments we fall together. But at the end of it, it's got a euphoric tone, it's a song of optimism and hope that we will get through anything. This track has to be one of my favourites I've ever made for that exact reason, the personal meaning behind it and the idea just all make it perfect to me. Shifting Skies

"Indigo" is a galvanizing track loaded with energy and emotions. Despite it can be labeled under the future bass etiquette, it easily transcends the paradigms of the genre. Jupe has created a journey that keeps evolving from the first to the very last second, fusing together very different sounds and moods. The first half of the song it's characterized by a fluid and delicate beat where dreamy atmospheres flirt with a future garage groove. However, after a vocal interlude, 'Indigo' spreads its wings and unveils a wall of sound perfectly suitable for festivals' mainstages. With electrifying synths, guitar solos and rhythmic changes, the second drop is nothing but an uplifting anthem that radiate adrenaline and euphoria.

Yedgar - Life Cycle E.P.

Canadian native Yedgar appears on Terrorhythm for an extended outing, after featuring on Plastician's Wavepool 2 and 3 albums successively.

Life Cycle is a selection of tracks which sit neatly in the gaps between Wave and Grime, in a time where the sound of Wave is pushing ever closer to a mainstage audience as it infiltrates pockets of the EDM community. Yedgar navigates soundsets that lean on influences from OG wave artists like Sorsari, whilst perhaps unknowingly also paying homage to the sounds of artists like MSSINGNO across the 5 tracks, which hover around 140 bpm - a tempo that has been synonymous with the Terrorhythm label, but perhaps less so in our outings within the Wave genre. With the influences from Sorsari in the mix, it's extra exciting for us to offer up a collaboration between Yedgar and Sorsari to open up the E.P. on "Mythic" before winding our way through 4 more tracks which explore an increasing energy and clever use of vocal hooks.
