Diynamic and mobilee have always been close, and last year celebrated together in style on the rooftop of the Hotel Diagonal in Barcelona during Sonar 2010 with all the leading artists on board, including Diynamic's H.O.S.H who's next up on the ever diversifying Leena Music catalogue!

Starting to release back in 2006, Holger Behn - the man behind the four well renowned letters - already has an impressive catalogue with EPs on labels including Get Physical, Kindisch, Supernature, Freerange, Strictly Rhythm, Dessous, Tsuba and of course his home label, as well as his debut LP 'Connecting The Dots' on Diynamic which came out last year.

His new EP, 'Tour De Fonque', fits perfectly in a peak time dance floor set, with strong basslines and in the case of the A-side track 'Dead And Alive' a twisted and eery vocal that's demanding "to know what it is". Meanwhile B-side 'Tour De Fonque' is built on a deep and driving groove that's impossible to ignore or stay still too. Keep it spinning and enjoy!

It’s one of our favorite things at LAMP when we get tracks like this sent to us. From the opening bars you get the sense that there’s a really catchy groove building up. Hip shaking drum layers and crisp shoulder shaking percussive layers will draw you to the dance floor. Disco strings slowly build into the foreground as a funky guitar strums along to the beat. A sensual, irresistible vocal beckons you to join in on the fun and things really kick off after the first build up with a bouncy bass line groove to seal the deal. 

Canadian native Famba has been on a steady grind putting out some impressive tracks; remixes and originals alike. His sounds have garnered the attention of labels like Armada Deep, UMG and Swerve Digital as well as notable tastemaker channels like Bodhi Collective. With less than a year of official work coming out of this project there’s definitely a sense that something big is brewing up in Nova Scotia and that Famba’s name will be a name you’ll hear much more often in 2017.

If you’ve ever lost yourself in the smooth, rolling rhythms of deep house, you’ve probably had Jimpster to thank without even knowing it.  Behind the decks, in the studio, or even just in the groove of his own life, Jimpster—aka Jamie Odell—is one of the quiet yet crucial architects of the genre, a producer who’s somehow managed to keep his sound fresh while paying homage to house music’s roots.  With releases stretching back to the early 90's, Jimpster’s sonic journey has evolved from the cut n paste, sample-heavy bedroom productions of his early releases to the deep house anthems he’s known for today.  He’s the artist who’s mastered the art of organic warmth, blending digital precision with analog textures in ways that sound both timeless and ahead of their time.  His music often draws from a deep well of influences: jazz, funk, soul, electro and even ambient textures—but it’s always tethered to the dancefloor.  He’s the kind of producer who can make a sub-bass rumble feel like a heartbeat while surrounding it with lush, atmospheric synths and intricate percussion that push his tracks into a hypnotic, almost meditative space.

Jimpster's discography is packed with both original tracks and remixes that make you move without even realising it: there’s the spaced-out, trippy disco allure of “English Rose”, the groove-heavy slo-mo swagger of “The Sun Comes Up” (which is basically the soundtrack to *that* sunset), and let’s not forget the timeless “Dangly Panther.”  Each track feels like a wave—a smooth ride that pulls you along effortlessly but leaves you wanting more.  His remix of Osunlade’s Momma’s Groove has become iconic but he has also offered his golden touch to artists as diverse as Seal, Bob Marley, Kerri Chandler, Josh Wink and Adam Port to name just a few.

But Jimpster’s influence doesn’t just stay in the studio.  As a DJ, his sets are like a carefully curated journey, blending stripped back disco, underground house and the more soulful end of techno into smooth, liquid transitions that captivate without ever feeling rushed.  Whether he’s playing an intimate, low-key club night or a larger festival stage, his mixes retain a sense of control—an ability to weave a narrative out of tempo, tone and texture, always keeping the dancefloor locked in.  From Panorama Bar (Berlin) to Cielo (NYC), Womb (Tokyo) to Fabric (London), Jimpster has pretty much span there and returned with the T shirt.

As co-founder and A&R of Freerange, Delusions Of Grandeur and most recently Cyphon Recordings, he’s helped nurture an entire generation of producers, sharing his deep understanding of groove and sound design with those who came after him.  Despite his three decades in the business and pivotal role in shaping the electronic music landscape, Jimpster remains relentlessly focused on who, or what, will come next, as excited as ever by discovering the freshest new talent and sounds to expose to the world.
