FF14 is basically half and half... but it still high on time.

Would it be nice for Madeline to be trans? Yes. Is Madeline trans? Could be. Is the bottle of meds evidence of her being trans? No. Whether Madeline is trans or not, that's not what Celeste is about. The things that it is about (anxiety, depression, the protagonist suffers from panic attacks) are a much better explanation for the pill bottle. Not just from a logic perspective of "we know for a fact she has these problems" but from a narrative perspective. The story ending with visual proof that she's getting help for the issues we spent the game exploring is way better than with something that has not been relevant to the narrative up until that point. The rest of the evidence is fair play though, I like the theory.

It's moments like this where closing the topic of a game without repeating the name is detrimental. I don't remember the title from when the topic opened up. I've been listening to this in the background while doing other things and only got my attention caught by key points of discussion for the topic game. Now I can either skip back until I find the start where the name is mentioned, or just not waste my time. I'll admit I'm guilty of not mentioning this feedback sooner, but I'm surprised it's never come up in over 200 episodes.

I wouldnt mind if they mentioned the name a few extra times. l listen while driving for work somtimes. I don't get around to relistening  for a while. it would help but its not that big a deal.
