I never really understood the stance that savescumming shouldn't be possible at all, like if you don't wanna savescum just don't do it. Kenshi is a game with a really dedicated community who loves it for its "your party of dudes are very much prone to losing limbs and dying at a moment's notice and that's part of the fun" atmosphere, but even that game has saving on command and routinely creates autosave backups and I've never heard anyone claim it diminishes the experience.
