Plushtoi is a Los Angeles based artist born and raised in Puerto Rico. Don’t let his fluffy exterior fool you, he is the epitome of what it means to “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. He describes his sound as “Bipolar Bass Music”. The sweet and melodic undertones may fool you at first, until he slaps audiences with his heavy bass drops. His wild style stems from his influences in the underground dance scene from Puerto Rico, Pop Punk, Emo, and 90’s- 2000’s Dance Music. Producing for the last 9 years now, due to his studies at the renowned production school “Icon Collective” he redefined his sound from his earlier project “Owl” which he presented himself in some of the biggest clubs in North America (i.e. Exchange, Avalon, Catch ONE etc.). with big acts such as Modestep, Barely Alive, Phlegmatic Dogs, Volac and many more. He hopes to one day establish the first credible bass music scene in Puerto Rico.
