 We are delighted to announce, flying in direct from the beach parties of Goa, Lithuanian born DJANE MAIKO will be headlining Autopsy VIII as part of her first ever Australian tour. 

A regular at Master of Puppets Festival, this year Maiko is touring the world, playing at Eclipse in Mexico, Atman Festival and throughout Europe and South America.

Upavas is a unique artist and a true Goa pioneer. He came to Goa by accident in 1986 and fell in love . His love stuck and evolved with the scene until today. Upavas began writing electronic music in 2002 and earned himself a reputation for dark & twilight PSY over the years. This episode features VITALY BAUER. Vitaly Bauer started to collect chillout and ambient music at the end of 20th century, being inspired by Banco De Gaia, Ozric Tentacles, Etnica. Vitaly Bauer started performing as DJ in 2003 when he already had a large collection of slow music. Vitaly Bauer has performed at many Russian music festivals, BK, Trimurti, Insomnia, Trishula and many more, and played at same stage with Kliment, Kalumet in Dub, Hallucinogen in Dub. Since 2001 he organizes fests and club parties known as BK. More recently, Vitaly Bauer is paying attention to develop the chillout stage of BK events. In 2016 he became a Mystic Sound Records resident. Vitaly Bauer expresses powerful feelings through chillout music, organically combining music of all styles and genres staying tuned to psychedelic chillout vibes.

AJJA S.F. LEU is an eclectic and multi-talented Swiss artist who channels his creativity through parallel careers as musician/producer/dj, Peak Records label manager, graphic artist and tattoo artist. 

Born in London in 1975, AJJA grew up roaming the planet with his world-renowned family of tattoo-artists and travellers. Wandering across the world and bathed in various artistic scenes, he was provided with a constant creative drive. 

He started playing guitar when he was nine years old, and having been reared in a rock’n’roll and funk atmosphere, he first concentrated on these musical styles. By his mid-teens, he had composed, produced and recorded over one hundred original songs. He performed with a number of live bands in different countries and continued to create music and release rock albums for another decade. During this time, he also picked up the family trade and started tattooing alongside his parents and older brother Filip Leu. 

At the end of the nineties, his interest gradually shifted towards electronic music, causing him to explore new digital horizons. In 2002, AJJA and musician friends Master Margherita, Dymons and Flooting Grooves created The Peaking Goddess Collective, a chill & psytrance band that fuses live instruments and digital technology. After performing in many parties and festivals and releasing tracks on many compilations, their debut album “Organika” was released on Peak Records in August 2007. 

In the summer of 2003, AJJA, in collaboration with his partner, visual artist Tanina Munchkina and musicians Dj Gaspard and Master Margherita, founded the psychedelic trance label Peak Records. In only four years, the label has gained respect and a solid reputation in the psytrance scene, releasing many quality night-time and chill albums and compilations. The same year saw the birth of Yab Yum, the fully digital project shared by AJJA and Dj Gaspard. They have since released numerous tracks on world-renowned labels, and their debut album “Nocturnal Emissions”, released on Peak Records in December 2006, has been widely praised in the international psytrance scene. They have performed with growing success worldwide from Japan to the United States. 

In 2005, AJJA started a solo project under his own name. This digital live-act is primarily 144bpm-based, focusing on groovy, non-cheesy, psychedelic trance that could be played in the morning or in the middle of the night. Since then, AJJA has performed in numerous parties and festivals including the Soulclipse, Life, Gaian Mind, Wickerman, World People, Forgotten Ritual and Waveform Project festivals. His much appreciated live sets have already rocked & grooved dancefloors in Japan, The United States, Canada, Switzerland, France, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Italy, England, Ireland, Scotland and Turkey. In the coming months, AJJA will be performing both his new material and with Yab Yum in parties around the planet, including the famous Universo Paralello in Brazil. A mini-tour in Japan is planned for spring 2008. 

In 2007, AJJA released his first solo night-time track on Moonloop Records. This fall, he will have two more releases on the upcoming Peak Records compilation “Peak-a-Doodle-Doo” and on Northern Psylights Records. His debut album “PSYCHOGENICA” will be released in November 2007, on the newborn Irish label Syncronize Records. Not satisfied with so much activity, Ajja also composes music for theater plays, designs Peak Records covers with his partner Tanina Munchkina, and works as a tattoo artist in his family’s shop in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Jive is the DJ project of Jai Royall, representing Transubtil Records. Farebi Jalebi spent the last few years producing and playing his own sounds. FJ started producing music in early 2008; inspired by the stories of many pioneers in the groovy dark psy phenomenon across the world. Ever since, he has been developing a flavour of his own – with bouncy basslines, weird scapes and dripping sounds, each track has a different twang and tells its own peculiar tale . It’s time for the sixth edition of Mo:Dem Festival and in the year 2017. the biggest novelty is our new concept with three musical stages. Here we present you the sounds of The Hive. In the past editions, this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host a wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future.
