Playing back-to-back with another DJ is a skill few people have. And we're not talking one-upping the other Dj with tunes they can't follow, we're talking about Djs that feed off each other’s tunes, energy and vibe to create a hands up, heads down affair. Jixo and Danz have made a career out of it, as the two Daniels (Jahed and Azar) work in tandem dropping everything from sunset deep house, Minimal tech, Indie dance, Afro to peak time Melodic and techno.

They've had the pleasure of sharing the decks for DJ heavyweights like Solomun, Black Coffee, Adriatique, Tale of Us, Marco Carola, Micheal Bibi,Jamie Jones, Sven Vath, Luciano, Ame, Carl Cox, Nina Kravitz, Artbat, Maceo Plex, Bedouin, Mochakk and Dixon. Regularly playing to thousands in big festivals and well known underground clubs every weekend such as Terra Solis (Tomorrowland), Elrow, Untold and Ibiza Global Festival, Techno & Chill festival. They’ve also played underground bastions of cool back in Beirut, their home city, including The Basement, Ahm, The Grand Factory, Uberhaus, 2nd Sun, The Garten, Five Island Festival and converted bomb-shelter club, BO18.

Jixo (Daniel Jahed) and Danz (Daniel Azar) have been child hood friends since school, with the tight-knit bond continuing into their first pub, bar and club gigs. Amazingly considering their packed DJ schedule, the DJ duo both work full time in Dubai’s thriving media industry. It hasn’t stopped them from taking international bookings, however, with Jixo & Danz having worked dancefloors as far-flung as Ibiza, Bali, Croatia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Egypt.

Musically, they’ve always positioned themselves at the deeper, groovier end of the house spectrum known for their trademark super-smooth sets, but are equally as comfortable taking it up a notch and dropping a tech-house and techno masterclass when needed. And with their back-to-back energy and peerless selection guaranteed at every gig, Jixo and Danz are proving that two heads (and four hands) is better than one.

Hi👋🏻, i’m an Italian Dj from Rome, usually I prefer to make music speak for me but here we are… So i can say that music is my life, my girlfriend and my best friend, the sensations and emotions that house music gives to me are unique. I love to dance, I love being lost on the dancefloor, without thoughts or judgements, only one rhythm that persuades every single soul. This is house music for me!
My mission in this world is to bring the real house culture to everyone so that they can appreciate (or not) this beautiful music genre and all the various subgenres. I like to say that Dancing is a perpendicular expression of an orizzontal desire.

Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Jad Alexander is a producer and DJ currently living in Lausanne, Switzerland. His musical inspiration has deep roots, going all the way back to when he was just 3 years old dancing in front of a mirror to Michael Jackson. With quite musically oriented parents, Jad thrived on his exposure from a young age to large acts such as St. Germain, Kruder & Dorfmeister and the Thievery Corporation. His memory is engraved with long car rides as a kid when his parents would play music for extended periods of time: “I clearly remember listening for hours to St. Germain as I stared out the car’s back seat window watching the world pass by.” Jad also acquired instrumental skills such as playing the piano by the age of 14 and participating in his high school Jazz band where he alternated between tenor and alto saxophone. 

Jad's musical style developed during his teenage years, not only through his early exposure to electronic music, but also to his first hand exposure to some of the finest clubs in the world where he would find himself lost in the music. His musical taste and style moved to another level of refinement when he moved to Switzerland chilling with the right people at the right time. 

In producing tracks, Jad's creative vision is driven by extensive experimentation with analogue equipment. From analogue synthesis to analogue effects, Jad appreciates particularly the luscious and silky sounds released, so rarely heard in today’s music.
