Luis Roza's passions for music and chemistry have always been like an evidence as if it was part of his DNA. After playing for himself in Brussels, he finally decided to leave his secret laboratory to share his music to the public. His pulsing and atomic sets are the result of an experience which would mix deep house, tech house, progressive , techno, and psytrance. As the DJ often says: “Music is Science and Science is Everything”.

Luis Roza also started producing his own tracks in 2019.

Thanks to his talent and his explosive mixes, he already played in some of the most important parties and places of Belgium such as Darklands (Antwerp), Le Belgica, Le Dolores, Jungle Bar, The Cave (@Steelgate, Brussels), Le Bar Rouge, Obscura (Red & Blue), @extravaganza-party, H.I.M Belgium, FLY Party (@Bloody-Louis), for the Belgian gay pride and Besneax official Party. He had also the chance to play at La Messe and at HRDR (@Borderline Club, Basel and @Folklor_club, Lausanne) & (@Stahlwerk, Basel).

When I first started making electronic music back in 2002, I was honored to win a remix contest judged by Joachim Garraud a few years later in 2006. 

This opened doors for me to release several original tracks and remixes on renowned labels like Ultra Music, Zemixx, Ministry of Sound, Definitive Recordings (founded in 1992 by John Acquaviva and Richie Hawtin), Yin Yang Records, Interlabel Records, Plasmapool Entertainment,Kumquat Tunes, Gumdigital (first digital label F*** Me I'm Famous!), Semantica Records, Kult, Kingdom Kome Cuts, Ho-Ju Records, D-Tracks, In & Out Recordings, Bitrate Records, Embassy One, Resolution Records, Digital Deejay, Stereo Poems, ZYX Records, and many more.

I had the great luck to be playlisted by renowned DJs such as John Askew, Simon Patterson, Oliver Moldan, Jaytech, Jens Lissat & Voltaxx, Joachim Garraud and even Hernan Cattaneo. 

Through my remixes for Joachim Garraud, I had the opportunity to work with renowned singers such as Chris Willis and DJ Roland Clark.

But a few years ago, although I never stopped producing in the studio, I was feeling uninspired to release tracks and simply needed a change of pace creatively. 

I finally learned music theory and learned the viola. This passage has always seemed complementary and obligatory to me. Mastering an instrument can only help to improve on several levels.

I also realized my desire to mix as a DJ and no longer confine myself only to the studio. It opened up very rewarding new perspectives for direct exchanges with the public and gave me the opportunity to test my own tracks directly on the dancefloor. The emotion that can be felt during a dj set with the public is truly indescribable.

Now in 2023, I’m refreshed and motivated to bring my new musical vision to life. 
My music style ranges from pure and hard techno to melodic and progressive house.

So much has changed in the industry since my initial releases - streaming, social media, new tech, innovative artists. I'm embracing all these changes and love discovering fresh sounds daily.

I started my own label “Release Vibes” to better understand the full landscape today. But most importantly, I’m just focused on honing my craft again. 

This time, the art itself is my priority rather than chasing industry benchmarks.
 
I find inspiration from a diverse range of influences – from classical composers like Verdi to the euphoric energy of 90's trance classics to the groundbreaking Belgian new beat and acid house  pioneers to Detroit techno innovators to Germany’s electronic music visionaries.

The focus remains on my personal evolution as an artist. The rest is in the hands of the music itself.

As a DJ, I played at events such as: Halloween Soirée Fériaud Festival, (Paris), Fête de la Musique (Luxembourg), Cave Brussels / Barrio Café, Background Morning After.
