Producer, musician, dj, photographer, Brando Lupi’s influences range anywhere from post industrial-rock, experimental electronic to modern classical. The Italian native has had a history working alongside a number of talented artists. He's the owner of the label Detune Records,founded in 2000. Brando’s releases have been picked up by the likes of Orange Groove , Kompakt , Samuvar , Dewtone Recordings , Mental Groove , Detune Records and Elettronica Romana. He has recently composed a score for the movie “La Solitudine Dei Numeri Primi”, distributed by Medusa,with the soundtrack signed by Mike Patton ,leader of Faith No More,and presented at the 67th Venice Film Festival. He currently resides in Rome, spreading experimental spiritual frequencies across the world.

After long last, finally a new HMS-tune. It took a while, eh? :-) 

This one is a bit of a departure from what we normally do (whatever that may be...) in that there's no singing on it. It features, however, extracts from the short story The Border by kayemnic, read by Xe Sands. 

One day I was cruising soundcloud in search of some vocals/spoken words-samples I could use for the track and found Xe Sands. The Border immediatelly made an impression on me, not only by the way Xe read the story and her fine voice, but the narrative kind of fitted the music perfectly. I didn't want to call my track The Border, however. Because it is not the complete story and I thought it wouldn't do it justice - at last, I only used the beginning of it. I A Mystical Shimmering Veil however - now, that is a title.

Science fiction has always fascinated me, the idea that we are not alone in the Universe is something I strongly believe, If I had one wish it would be the opportunity to travel through Space and go where no one has gone before, but for now I'll take you on a Musical journey to Mars.
