Born in Elmhurst, IL, a city suburb of Chicago, Joshua Warren King was diagnosed with a form of Autism called Asperger's syndrome when he was 2. Music has always been his passion and dream at heart. A Walled Lake Central high school graduate living in Commerce Township, Michigan, and an NBC Songland YouTube exclusive, he has been a fan of some of the best country artists like Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Dan + Shay, Meghan Patrick, Kane Brown, Jimmie Allen, and hoping to meet the NBC Songland songwriter, Josh Logan. Other artists include Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Chad Kroeger from Nickelback, Chris Daughtry, Drake, JoJo, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, and local artist, Calebakacnote. Best known for his second album lead single, “The Long Road”, Josh’s hopes and dreams are for him to go on the NBC TV show Songland, move to Nashville, Tennessee, and inspire people to never lose sight of their dreams without seeing the wonderful things what hope and faith can produce in the future. He quotes that no matter who you are you always have the open doors to succeed and chase after your dreams.
