Johnny Swoope hails from Los Angeles, California. His love for music began on the playground, and he began his DJing roots there at a young age. His branches truly blossomed in all ways when he transplanted to Flagstaff in 1998. A home where the sky reflects the land and the music reflects the amazing people. Since then, he has hosted a variety of weekly and monthly electronic dance nights, as well as various outdoor music events. Electric Kingdom-an abundantly creative monthly for many years, and then Firefly Gathering festival; coordinating all of its 3 music stages & acts. Additionally, he brought a new sound every Sunday, to Northern Arizona community radio with his show "Soundwaves." He has learned & been inspired by so many people, opportunities, and experiences. Now a Portlander, his sounds span many genres, but it is always in great taste. It is always with heart, and it will always make you dance.
