J. Cash “The King” born Johnathan Cash on August 4, is an American rap artist from Dallas, TX. Inspired by artists such as Jay-Z, T.I. and Tupac, and a love for powerful storytelling with an intense inner-strength Cash began writing his own lyrics at age 10, and it wasn’t long before he had amassed a library of notebooks filled with rhymes and observations.

Cash’s story is one of determination and perseverance. Without a DJ or producer to provide music he started using industry beats from major artist to record his lyrics to. From then on he was constantly creating new music and lyrics leading to his current style and flow.

Later he attended college at Stephen F. Austin University where he made himself notable by performing at bars and clubs during his freshman year. He started recording his own mixtapes and soon after released the first of his “Well Uh Huh” mixtape series. With lyrics touching on everything from his personal struggles in music and life to world observations he quickly began to gain the attention of fans and radio personalities alike. 

As a young African American man, Cash has a strong appreciation for history and culture and his music encapsulates not just who he is as an artist, but who he is as a person. He is currently working on his debut album.

Jamaal Zeigler, born on March 21, in New Orleans, Louisiana, developed a profound love for music, particularly Hip-Hop, inspired by his older brother and cousins. His musical influences ranged from No Limit and Cash Money to iconic artists like Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, Nas, Mase, Def Squad, Method Man & Redman, among others. Embracing the East Coast rap style, Jamaal, known by his stage name "Joe Numbas," possesses a distinctive raspy voice coupled with clever bars.

Growing up in the challenging environment of the 7th ward in New Orleans, Jamaal faced early hardships. Raised by a hardworking single mother juggling four jobs, he encountered the absence of his father, who struggled with legal issues due to involvement in drug dealing and abuse. Despite these challenges, Jamaal took on responsibilities from a young age, caring for his autistic and diabetic uncle while his brother enlisted in the US Marine Corps.

After Hurricane Katrina devastated their home, Jamaal relocated to Dallas, Texas, with his family and close friend Frank Fingaz. Wrestling with depression, he turned to writing rhymes as a means of coping with life's challenges. Collaborating with Rodney, they delved into rap, forming a group called "Da New Breed," later expanding to create "Da FAB (Forever About Business)" with other artists.

Following a brief hiatus due to Jamaal's decision to join the United States Marine Corps at 21, music re-entered his life during active duty in Okinawa, Japan. He released a mixtape titled "Da Saga Begins Vol. 1" in 2009 and founded the record label Hawd Head Music. After an honorable discharge in 2010, Jamaal reunited with former FAB member WOAH in Dallas. They, along with DB Ladale, released tracks under Hawd Head Music, leading to the creation of the underground mixtape "No Doze: No Sleep" in 2014, featuring the notable single "CREAM."

Passionate about restoring balance, substance, and lyricism to Hip-Hop, Jamaal strives to defy mainstream conformity. Through his music, he aims to spark conversations, deliver meaningful content, and revive the essence of true rap artistry.
