As a devout atheist from my early years I have consequently chosen not to believe in anything that doesn’t have a justifiable or logical explanation. The concept of luck certainly comes into that category as it seems to suggest an exterior force as it’s cause, something I simply cannot accept.

But even non-believers talk about luck being either for or against them, throwing spilled salt over their shoulders or not walking under ladders, because these have become part of everyday behaviour or  language, dictated by habit more than any sense of logic.  The terms in this song all relate to some mysterious good or bad vibe, including - and I’ve known people who actually do this - which direction in which your bed might face when you’re asleep.

Although also a devout atheist, my brother Gal is a good example of such habits, often using the term “Touch Wood” if he wants something to happen in his or our favour.  I think he inherited this from our Mum, who used to say it all the time and would go as far as trying to touch something made of wood to complete the ‘spell', not always easy in what had become an increasingly plastic age.

Despite all of the above, I think Gal must have been ‘Touching Wood’ when he first formed a friendship with Hans, because I’m still not at all sure that we deserve to be associated with someone of such proficiency, consummate talent and innate kindness.  Some may say we have been very lucky.  We have certainly been exceedingly fortunate, which is just about as far as I’m prepared to go.  Whatever your beliefs, we hope you enjoy the song. Earth Asks For Help

Here we go!

This been pretty much my August - Project, surprise surprise, at my parents in law place - (gotta give it a magic name soon, might sound more "dope" instead of P A R E N T S  I N  L A W   P L A C E.) Haha.
Nonetheless, as "we" already know, the workflow and especially also the influences and what outcome that might be, is most of the times unpredictable and i just let it go - kinda -> go with the flow!

I realized, that i never did anything "fast", so why not just go 160 bpm! Ha! And then it happened and it grew and after that week i had it pretty much done. Turned out i went mad with the drums later on and worked another 3 weeks until i had them where i wanted it to be , along with some little FX automations and little subtle details here and there.

What is this? As i am releasing this, today on my, yeah, 40th birthday, i thought like: "Man, does that not herald the dawn of damn? Right?." Just a little joke. I really hope, that no one will think about me like that, and if there is a yes, then seriously go f.ck yourself, for real! :) There is so much happening, still this global pandemic going and then... there were a lot of news about the lost war in Afghanistan and that really bad times will be coming again. A country, which took so long to gain for instance rights for women and so on, will be pushed back in time and space. And i think that's pretty much it. 

I contacted my wonderful friend John Bucknall (https://www.instagram.com/johnbucknallart/) and asked him if he could draw the thing i had in mind - and damn, he did it!! I am proud that he agreed  and he really nailed it. I spare sharing any additional ideas and other stuff.. its really up to you....like "Have the track, see the picture and then there will be definitely enough space for your own interpretation of all of this." 

And yeah, i am not getting tired of thanking all of you for your support, your amazing and mind blasting music you put on the cloud, which keeps resonating, keeps me going, keeps me so hooked to all of you. I am feeling more and more home with all of you on my side. I befriended so many wonderful artists here, i have the possibility to collaborate with some, and also exchange thoughts, ideas, vibes and the most important "love"!

End of 2021 i will have my third anniversary here on Soundcloud and i am not getting a single millisecond tired of digging all your stuff , liking, commenting , reposting and experiencing it with my all my senses and especially my crazy brain dick!!!! You are amazing!

Dawn Of Damn

Hi friends 😽

Last year today, the most beautiful and charismatic resident from Saveafox crossed the rainbow bridge. The whole sanctuary community was heartbroken and so was I.
Even if i never met little Mouse in person, I can tell she changed my life. 
In November 2019, Mouse was about to be killed by a fur farmer due to her poor fur quality. Saveafox team rescued her but was told she wouldn't last a week.
She lived there a whole year with lots of love, many friends and a bunch of fans.
But besides an innovative treatment, her heavy genetics issues won.
For her, I started last year MOUSE THE FOX project to have more people help her.
Since she passed away it's now aimed to promote all animal sanctuaries i follow.

Hello dear friends
I haven’t been very active the last few weeks. Just wanted to take some time off social medias.
Anyway, here’s my 1st and newest track for 2022
What can I say about 2021.….I guess it was pretty eventful and traumatic for so many of us. Trying very hard to live a normal life has been very chaotic to say the least.
Although I stopped watching the news on tv many years ago, I’ve kept in touch with what’s been going on through many independent news websites and of course Youtube.
Seeing the world, society divided in two, the hatred directed towards those who only asked questions, well it’s been very hard to deal with.
Trying not to lose your mind….not easy. Asking myself, what is the truth or rather, what is the lie, without so far any real answers to all my questions.
Anyway, I noticed that the new movie, ‘ The Matrix’ just came out, so decided to watch the 1st three again before watching the latest, and wow….it was the perfect time to watch them.
With what’s happened in the world, it was mind blowing. Makes me wonder about what is actually real.

Fly Focus

Introduction in English:

Last summer I went wandering in the Black Forest with my oldest friend. After a long day of walking, we stopped at a rather musty inn.   
We were chewing on the overcooked pasta casserole when suddenly the door opened and a young lady entered the inn. With her noble and elegant-delicate appearance she did not fit at all to the stuffy environment.
She sat down together with her family, who hermetically sealed her off, at the next table.
My friend and I immediately had the same association of a "sad beauty". On the outside, she seemed to hold herself together like an extremely well-formed porcelain figure. In her being, however, she seemed deeply lonely, isolated, and almost broken to us.  
For a very brief moment, our eyes met. And in this millisecond-eye gaze into her soul, this chanson was born.  
Since this young woman would have fit more into the Versailles chateau culture of the late 18th century, I sing this chanson in a frail French.
