They are formed in the spirit of chillout & dub, and they have a mystical connection when placing with their audience into higher spheres.

Their new album “The Quality of Being One” goes deep into soul turning ambient-dub and adds drum thrills that get the tunes rocking. The secret of their "danceable speed" in ambient tracks is a higher density of their unique ambient-electro sounds and rhythms to experience feelings through their deeply emotive music.

Starting with deep intros and then merging atmospheric filterworks into dubwise beats for the floor that can be specially experienced in their live performances.

With “The Quality of Being One” the Saafi Brothers take another really strong view into experiencing the mystical oneness of being in unity and brotherhood that we could live in.

Their 6th album is about acoustically capturing blissed out dub beats and tranquil ambient sounds, transporting quality that's almost hypnotic, more than a fleeting electronic moment and shows how minimal decent dubby tracks can be. In childhood we were watching thru the stars with my school bud. Exiting atmosphere, riding deep and cold vacuum (and I don't mean a vacuum cleaner :) ... mentally expanding our presence to far outer-space. Until  rock comes up to your throat. Thinking, - How huge the whole thing is?

Stargaze is dedicated to great artist and friend Gary Miles, Anomon @gary-courtland-miles

Musically, keep pursue Impressionism in music. Might be to complex to some or too simple to others, not the point. Some shorter strokes or deep long waves. With all one intention - let you co-create while listen.

Inspired by instinct and the pulse of life that is within us all and eminates across the universe within every swirling sun soaked galaxy, life is teaming and more than we will ever imagine, in every shape and form in every nook and cranny that can possibly exist so jump on board and take a fantastical journey into the magic and black awe inspiring space ocean of endless dreams in this original sci-fi ambient space soundscape exploration & chilled instrumental and for the techies amongst us or anyone interested i used a Korg Poly 800, Roland M-SE 1, Korg MS10, Moog Slim Phatty and a Electrix Mo-Fx and Warpfactory all triggered by the Doepfer Dark Time sequencer synced in with cubase! Peace & celebrate life! :D

Philadelphia State Hospital, known as Byberry, was a horrific mental institution that opened in the early 1900s.  It finally closed in the 90s, and the local youth would sneak in and wander around the dark halls and catacombs.  Rumors abounded that there were satanic cults and black masses happening there.  This was a place that was imbued with darkness, and I tried to capture that dark hopelessness in this track.

Byberry

Sort of an electronic remix of Dark was the Night by Blind Willie Johson...the quintessential blues song by the quintessential blues man.  It also happens to be one of the songs chosen by Carl Sagan for the golden record on the Voyager space craft, which has now left our solar system and is cruising through interstellar space...which is pretty cool, I think.
