We are the Leaking Vessels.. this is our beginnings of things to come.. I am Gage Simonton, a music producer, engineer & musician.. things are soon to be official, till then this is our skeleton; christians who happen to enjoy playing & performing music.. our music is our story, our experience of life through our lense, and an act of worship to God. We are sinners saved by grace; constantly in need of that grace, our broken vessels leak, begging for the water of Life.. at the same time, we are full vessels overflowing, leaking from the brim over our surroundings that the world around us may be blessed..

The Castros are a husband and wife musical team that met in Savannah, Georgia in the summer of 2006. Their music began in a friend's living room at that time where Sara taught Marco his first guitar chords. Since then, they have combined very different musical influences to create their sound, in an attempt to reflect God's light and spread his colors to the listener through their songs.

Marco grew up in Costa Rica and has been influenced by a lot of musical genres and styles that range from heavy music to latin rythms, and bands such as: Thrice, P.O.D., Vineyard UK and Blindside. Sara grew up in Ohio listening to Classic Rock and Folk music including artists such as: Jewel, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Norah Jones, ect. Their sound is a blend of earthy simplicity with energetic undertones and subtle intensity.

Now they reside in Columbus, OH, where they spend most of the time just being married and dreaming together for what is to come.They have played in several locations in the mid-west along with artists such as: Rue Royale, Listener, Deadhorse, Aaron Lee Martin, Jenny & Tyler, The Jox, Heather Evans, Richard Jordan, Mike Wojniak, DejaVu Latin Fusion and a lot of GREAT artists which have become friends along the way.

In 2011, The Castros will be recording their first album titled "The Tiny Airplane EP", including both of the songs posted here.
