"Client_03 - Host Body Rule set. 

The Host Body is selected Through process of elimination to physically represent Client_03 in a performance setting. This is a commencalistic relationship in which Client_03 benefits and the host body feels nothing and has no recollection of the experience. 

Below is the the formula given to the host body as a base on which to elaborate for the duration of the performance. Whether or not the Host body can add have add value based on performative gestures is unclear. Future iterations may include limitations on the host body’s physical movement.

Barry Weaver was one of the best techno dj's from LA's early rave and underground scene. He had a great ability to mix familiar anthems with lesser-known tracks. His mixing was technically precise. If his name was on the flyer, you could expect a rock-solid set.

This mix tape, Tekno - The New Religion, was sold at record shops on Melrose Boulevard, the hub of LA's club culture. I bought this copy in '92 at Beat Non Stop, one of the big dance music record stores.

The tape sides weren't labeled with the traditional A and B or 1 and 2. Instead, one side was labeled "Everybody's Free / Free Everybody". The other side was marked "Eat Em Up Yum, Yum / Yum, Yum Eat Em Up". So which side was first?

I put the Everybody's Free side first because it starts with an obvious introduction, the spoken meditation, while the start of Eat Em Up seemed to be a continuation of the first side. It should be noted that the Eat Em Up side is the one packed with popular techno tracks, so if you want to hear the familiar bangers first, skip to the 31:00 mark.

After transferring the recording to digital format, I applied some noise reduction to minimize tape hiss, tweaked the eq, and brought up the levels. The result sounds pretty decent. 

This tape was produced by the Milky Way Acid House Family. Milky Way recorded and distributed a series of mix tapes featuring the biggest dj’s of the time (1991-1992). Many of those legendary mix tapes can be heard on Simfonik: http://simfonik.com/tag/milky-way-acid-house-family/
