La llegada de J´Martin al mundo internacional de la música comenzó a los 9 años mientras trabajaba junto a su padre en una bodega en Queens, y ya anhelaba su primer proyecto musical independiente. Soñaba con tener una banda de merengue. Atraído, además, por los sonidos típicos de República Dominicana como el Perico Ripiao, Merengue y Bachata, conformó años después su propio estilo en la "Bachata Pop/Urbana".

Hechos importantes:
2010: Nombrado "Mejor Artista Revelación" por la revista People en Español.
2011: Nominado a´Revelación del Año en el Renglón Tropical de Premios Lo Nuestro´.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, up and coming singer-songwriter Anthony “J’Martin” Espinal emerged as one of the most promising artists in the Latin recording industry today.

Discipline and hard work have been the main standards throughout his life and career, ever since he started working at age 9 along with his father, Martin, in a bodega (grocery store) in Queens. Today, J’Martin is one of the most versatile performers within Bachata Pop/Urbana, and as a successful entrepreneur.
