DJ Sobrino was born on August 16, 1988. He was born and raised in Harlem and went to school in Washington Heights (NYC). During his high school years he deejayed "Hookie Parties" for his friends. After he graduated he began to play for local restaurants in Manhattan and the Bronx on the weekends for extra money. At the age of 20 he was introduced to and became part of (LosTraficante.com). This helped him get bookings in night clubs and to get recognized as a DJ. A year later in 2009 he began to deejay for (LaRumba95.3FM) a local latin radio station in (NYC) to expand his name. In this radio station he and (DJ Pikante) had their own show on sunday afternoons. In 2011 He was recognized by artist promoter (Chico Mambo) & dominican comedian (Manolo Ozuna) and left (LaRumba) and went to join them in (Activa94.9FM), another latin radio station in (NYC). In this radio station he was the DJ for the saturday show in the afternoon "LA KURA DEL SABADO", and the wednesday night show "LA MEZCLA DE LAS 8" hosted by (MC Nelson). In 2012 DJ Sobrino creates an application (App) for his fans to listen to his music, and see where he is at all times. His application (App) got him recognized in many cities which has led him to deejay in venues in Virginia, Boston & Philadelphia. In 2013 DJ Sobrino is nominated for the "Best Uptown DJ" in the (LATIN MIXX DJ CHOICE AWARDS). During this period of time he was then offered a contract to join the dominican TV host (Michael Miguel) to be the DJ representative of "HOLA AMIGO WINE". A wine that was created by (ABSOLUT VODKA).
