DrummaBoy J. "DBJ" is a real drummer born and raised in Brooklyn.  He grew up like a natural beat machine was inside him.  Nobody could stop him from compulsively making beats on tables, pots, pans, and other objects at an early age of 7 years old.  The famous 80's band "Duran Duran" and their guitarist Warren Cuccurullo's brother Jerry Cuccurullo, also a drummer who grew up in Drummaboy J's Brooklyn hometown Canarsie, discovered Drummaboy at age 11, and started giving him drum lessons.  Jerry realized Drummaboy was making his own beats up naturally and adding on to the prescribed beats.  DrummaBoy J became a drummer for bands, playing in New York City clubs such as the famous CBGB's.  Tragedy of a band member had ended the band "Spilt Milk" before DrummaBoy J turned to producing his own beats, and using music instruments solo.  He turned back to his hip hop roots and produces beats for various rap artists.  Today he is known for his legacy of beats, most of which have it's origins across Brooklyn, New York City.
