The Fckups are an all natural, great tasting antidote to the Technicolor bile of our consumer culture.

To experience the Fckups is to be immersed in a visceral cyclone of euphoric energy; raging against conformity to the mainstream; raging against the manipulative pap that peddles the fear that ‘You’re not good enough’; raging against the powers that make every effort to homogenize our culture.


The Shorts are a 3 piece punk rock band from Ballarat. 

The Cave started as a feature of our backyard in Mount Clear (Ballarat), VIC, and hosted countless sessions, jams, open mics, for well over a decade.  

In 2012 we began hosting "Intimate Evening" music appreciation events, however the council placed restrictions on the types of events that we could host, effectively shutting us down.

In Jan 2017 The Cave will be relocated to Joseph Street, Canadian.  Zoned Industrial 1 and featuring a caretakers residence onsite; zoning and amenity restrictions will no longer be an issue.

Currently The Cave is between locations; however, can be contacted for audio and video production.
