Following outings on DeeVu, Pogo House, Plastic People Digital and Fruity Flavour - amongst others - Kindred Soul pops up on Slightly Transformed. In typical fashion, 'True Love' delivers a boundary-blurring vocal workout that happily sits at the aural intersection of Dave Lee style organic house, bumping US garage, soulful house and deep house. It's a musically rich affair, with live bass, sax, vocals and electric piano riding rolling, bongo-laden club beats. DJ Passion provides the obligatory remix, giving the track a classic disco-house feel via the addition of stirring strings, funkier bass, soaring chords and a serious of impressive musical build-ups. It's a fine remix that should appeal to all those who love the output of the Groove Culture and Z Records imprints.

Miku Yonezawa Bio:

Born in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, Miku started playing the tenor saxophone at the age of 8, and joined a big band at the age of 11. 
Debuted in 2016 with “Amusement”. Her 3rd album was the number one bestseller in the jazz category on Amazon Japan for 28 days, and was the top album on the iTunes Store Jazz. 

Next came the jazz ballad album "Dawning Blue" released in January 2019 set a record by being number one on the Amazon chart for 93 days. In May 2019, she made her major debut with “Exotic Gravity” from King Records. “Dawning Blue” and “Exotic Gravity” won Album Of The Year in the 2019 JAZZ JAPAN AWARD New Star category.  She is also part of the hugely popular band, The Jazz Avengers.

PREMIERE: Charly Angelz ft. Venessa Jackson - Disco Freedom (Romain Villeroy Remix) [Disco Machine]

Simon Lewicki, better known as Groove Terminator, combined his efforts with fellow South Australian music artist Luke Million, to create the official soundtrack of the event, 'Come On.'

Lewicki says the creation process was incredibly smooth, and he relished the opportunity to create something new.

"To me, disco and fashion are eternally entwined, so my first port of call was to Luke Million, as this seemed the perfect opportunity to come together and create some future disco vibes," he says.

"After throwing some reference ideas back and forth, Luke flew up to Sydney and we jumped into the studio for a day, by the end of which we had nutted out the main song structure and arrangement"

"It was a fun and actually fairly quick process from beginning to end." 

"Luke and I are keen to do some more work together, which is a great result for us."
