Silk Textures is thrilled to release its fifth album, "Silk Textures 05," mixed and compiled by Da Funk, the sensational Swiss producer and DJ. Da Funk not only has been an active musician for nearly two decades, but he is also the founder of the acclaimed Acryl Music label. It is our great honor to announce that Da Funk is now the leading ambassador of our imprint, having recently embraced the role of "Silk Textures" radio show host. A long-standing show on Proton Radio, "Silk Textures" recently reached #1 on the San Francisco-based, underground dance music station. 

Da Funk's continuous mix includes 15 deep, groovy, and lush cuts: from Dousk's deep-diving remix of Kyo Koichii's "Spit On You" to Sure-I-Can's outer-worldly "Sin" and Da Funk's own funky "King Filth." Previous Silk fan favorites on the album include Claes Rosen's jazzy, yet soothing "Glancing," as well as Bodytemp's provocative "Kalm."

Several of the album tracks are previously unreleased. Specifically, Irish newcomer Jay FM treats us to the tranquil "Waterfall," a sensual deep-progressive journey that works especially well as a soulful opener in a live set. Legendary Silk veteran Kobana offers a new remix of Sean Mackey's "Aviary," which proves to be a vintage, uptempo deep house cut. Last but not least, another label veteran, Denis Laurent, contributes his distinctive brand of chilled, late-night progressive house yet again on "Osennee."

This compilation offers Da Funk's fans a glimpse of his acclaimed DJ style: fluid, compositional, and soothing, yet powerfully emotive. Silk Music cordially invites you to kick back and relax to the sensual and soulful vibes of Da Funk, as well as numerous other core artists on Silk Textures.

Nearly three years since the release of his last LP, virtuosic Russian trance & progressive composer Gregory Esayan graces us with his third full-length album, "My Guiding Star." bring together many of our combined artists and supporters during ADE
weekend in Amsterdam 2019; Emergent Shores, Synth Collective and Soluna Music have come
together to organise, for the first time, an event dedicated to the beautiful melodic progressive
house we love: Progressive Unity.
Hosted on 18th October at one of the city’s most unique venues: the amazing Hill Street Blues
bar in the heart of Amsterdam. This historic event presents twelve of the scene’s most respected
figures, DJing for the love of the wonderful music we all adore.
One of the main aims of this event was to give something back to our fans and supporters, by
putting on a free night for them. Continuing this theme we are very proud to collectively bring you
“Progressive Unity” the EP.
This beautiful trio of tracks (one put forward from each of our labels) from 3 of the scene’s most

This stunning track infuses a wonderful chord progression with the gorgeous melodies that this accomplished pair of artists are rightly celebrated for, to create a truly sensational melodic soundscape. 

Our headline artists are joined on this release by two more incredible talents from the Emergent Family roster: New York-based Emro and the Ukraine-based brothers Prus Control. Jay FM hails from the west of Ireland and has been producing music spanning many genres for over 12 years. He cut his teeth in the SectionZ underground music community, which nurtured many talented artists, including Deadmau5 and Savant to name but a few.
