Knife Party - Bonfire (Detta Reboot)

Originally released back in 2009, "On A Dubstep Tip" rode the wave of the new school of dubstep producers coming up the ranks and established Adam Prescott as a name to watch. Featuring killer verses from Dynamite MC alongside Jah Screechy's "Walk & Skank" classic, the track got big radio support from the likes of Mistajam and Ras Kwame alongside club support from Skream, Benga, Mala, Hatcha and loads more. With dubstep taking over the world, we thought it was high time to revisit this classic with some fresh remixes.

First up, Scotland's Mungo's Hi Fi turn in possibly one of their toughest remixes to date with a heavy steppers reworking, sounding ripe for some carnival action! Next, Black Butter's up-and-coming super producer Woz takes it deeper with a brutal bass driven refix that is sure to tear up any dancefloor. One of the names to watch on the jungle-breaks scene GOLD takes it back to the 90s with a rave-inspired remix and finally there's the original version, made available digitally for the first time.

South London duo The Correspondents (aka Mr. Bruce and Chucks) return with their brand new single ‘Well Measured Vice’ due for release on January 28th. The single is accompanied by a bespoke animated video that was three months in the making. It was hand-drawn to over 2232 frames by Mr. Bruce himself, whilst he was recovering from a broken metatarsal.
 
Forming in 2007 The Correspondents quickly burst onto the scene in a whirl of sweat and spandex, picking up plaudits across the board for their frenetic genre-hopping breed of electronica and incendiary live shows, replete with outrageous outfits, travelators and infra-red sensored light boxes (earning them the Telegraph’s Top 10 Glastonbury highlights two years in a row). Since then, they have wowed audiences large and small everywhere: from Glastonbury, The Secret Garden Party, Bestival and Lovebox through to Kensington Palace, The Tower Of London, Shambala and Silencio in Paris to name a few.
 
New track ‘Well Measured Vice’ is powerful statement of intent. Organs, guitars and horns are punctuated by toe-tapping 60 ’s beats and mesmerising vocals creating a unique sound that is as arresting to the feet as it is to the ear. Essentially an anti-prohibition anthem against contemporary East London censorship laws, Mr. Bruce proclaims ‘what is life, what is life without well measured vice’ and who can argue with that! On the flip remixes come courtesy of Featurecast who gives it the Electro then Dub treatment whilst Chucks himself delivers a bombastic Glitch-Hop banger guaranteed to destroy any dance floor.
 
500 limited edition 10-inch vinyl’s of ‘Well Measured Vice’ will be released on January 28th, each will be numbered and contain a bespoke hand drawn illustration by Mr. Bruce. The 500 images will then be made into a 40second animated video.  Their debut album is due out in early 2013.

Ibiza Sessions 2013 Minimix (Out Now)

Jimi Needles and Dylan Sanders are an American sitcom created and produced by Sherwood Schwartz and originally produced by United Artists Television. The situation comedy series featured Jimi Needles and Dylan Sanders. It aired for three seasons on the CBS network from September 26, 1964, to September 4, 1967. Originally sponsored by Philip Morris & Company and Procter & Gamble, the show followed the comic adventures of two castaways as they attempted to survive (and in a later movie escape from) the island on which they had been shipwrecked. Most episodes revolve around the dissimilar castaways' conflicts and their failed attempts to return home.

Jimi Needles and Dylan Sanders ran for a total of 98 episodes. The first season, consisting of 36 episodes, was filmed in black-and-white. These episodes were later colorized for syndication. The show's second and third seasons (62 episodes) and the three television movie sequels were filmed in color. The original series was accompanied by a laugh track; however, the three television movies were not.

Enjoying solid ratings during its original run, the show grew in popularity during decades of syndication, especially in the 1970s and 1980s when many markets ran the show in the late afternoon after school. Today, the title characters of Jimi Needles and Dylan Sanders are widely recognized as American cultural icons.
