Filth and Splendour are the combined talents of Oli Cassidy and James Trystan, two great DJ producers whose events and releases have gathered a massive following in London’s rocking dance music scene.
They enjoy bookings and have held residencies at some of London’s finest nightclubs - The Egg, Ministry of Sound, the Key, Matter and the Cross all helped to hone a sound that combines the energy of house, the depth of techno and freshness of electro that’s been garnering support of big names as varied as Carl Cox, Jaytech, Markus Schulz, Claude Von Stroke, Kissy Sellout and Groove Armada. Their first release "Language" went straight on to Godskitchen’s Underground Album 2007 and was followed by a slew of electro, tech and progressive tracks. 

Released on labels such as Cr2, Twisted Frequency, Baroque, Data Records and the boys’ own Imprint Itch Records, they’ve landed numerous more compilations and have selected remixes by artists like world top DJs Umek, James Harcourt, The Loose Cannons, Kalva and Timo Garcia. World tour destinations for 2010 included Thailand and Greece with festival appearances at Glastonbury and Creamfields. 

In 2011their tracks Knight Rider and Hot Pick released on Cr2 climbed to number 9 on the Beatport charts and was blasted out on Carl Cox’s Global radio show. After being heralded as a Miami smash it is still being re-released now on compilation after compilation. Towards the end of 2010 Filth & Splendour proudly remixed Call & Response by James Harcourt, arguably one of the biggest techno hits from 2009, which gained them the support of Andi Durrant on his Galaxy FM radio show. Another hit remix called Vegas was released on Baroque then snapped up by Armada Music as a hot Ibiza track 2010. With increasingly strong releases on Cr2, Baroque and Dojo out across March and April 2011, alongside a hotly tipped and anticipated album almost completed Filth & Splendour show no sign of stopping and are of course, available now.

A London based producer/DJ well known on the circuit and formerly known as Jnr J has started his latest moniker Elijah Collins. Since starting in early 2011 he’s been making a lot of noise in the scene with a string of very successful tracks, edits and remixes smashing a variety of styles including Nu Disco, Electro Boogie, Deep House and any other cross sub-genre that he sets his mind to.

Mullet Records were quick to sign his music and since that union Elijah’s been racking up multiple top ten sales on all of the major dance music sale sites with his tracks ‘Love’s Down’ (co-written with Nist) reaching No3 in the beatport Nu-Disco chart and staying in the top ten for an unprecedented 5 months and “I Used To Feel Alright’ (co-written with Tee-J) reaching No1 in the beatport Funk chart and being charted by super legend Lenny Kravitz! His productions quickly gained high acclaim among artists that he’s always revered and he soon found him self gaining respect and support from heavyweight artists such as Maceo Plex, Solomun, Aeroplane, Monarchy, Wagon Cookin' and electro legends Black Strobe who Elijah has just remixed.  

As a veteran DJ of over 15 years Elijah leaves a trail of very successful DJ gigs both at home and abroad where he has never failed to wow a crowd and create a dance floor frenzy that has to be seen to believed. He is constantly supporting huge acts like Greg Wilson, Anja Schneider, Norman Jay and Todd Terje on his way to musical success.

So much has happened in so little time that we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Soul Avengerz are no newcomers to the industry, being an integral part of the London house scene for over 30 years now. 


In today’s climate most artists carve out a production profile before proving themselves as DJ’s. It is this that often leads to most artists’ productions being more dance floor orientated the more experienced they become, as they gain that all important first hand knowledge of what it takes to rock a packed dance floor. As DJ’s first and foremost, Paul and Wayne already had intimate knowledge of what worked in the main rooms up and down the country, so it was a simple case of applying this knowledge to their production work, and it is this that has led to their immediate rise to fame.

House music has come to attract all manner of less than complimentary connotations as the scene has grown up, but at its core the term still implies crowd pleasing main room music..

They soon became known for their love and devotion to all things house and 15 years on there still here, passionate as ever and still love struck with “house music”

The moral of this story is that through all the genre twisting monocles that have been administered to different types of house that have become popular. The Soul Avengerz have followed their hearts and made music for the house coinnissure. JNR was/is lucky enough to reside at the infamous THROB PARTIES at JAMM, Just The One & Bambossa Records Parties @ SEOne as well as Zipcode vs Devore @ Mos and new heavy weights Sick On The Dancefloor to mention a few. His international career has also sky rocketed with recent trips to Club Bonbon (Shanghai), Chinese Laundry (Sydney), Barcelona, Norway, Oslo, Prague, Ibiza….I’ll stop or we’ll be here all day!

As the popularity rose for our LARGER THAN LIFE entertainer; JNR and the THROB partnership Launched 1 of London’s coolest nights, The appropriately named JNRS JAMM, which supplies London on a Bi-monthly basis a mix of all things nasty, dark and dirty, with guest appearances from some of the finest international & Local Dj Talent such as Sebastien Leger, Martijn Ten Veldon, Mike Monday, Alex Kenji, King Roc…

JNR’S productions have gone from strength to strength with releases on Plasmapool, All Around The World & Stealth as well many other independent labels and his own label Devore Recordings which he runs with Kriss Darang keeps him more than busy.

JNR’S flair, energy and technique behing the decks have established his fan base and JNR finds himself contemplating offers, he had only dreamed of as a young DJ buck.
