"I did a load of festivals this summer and stumbled across the good, the bad and the rubbish. One band i did see however were truly wonderful. I was at Festival No.6 and was getting ready to see Grumbling Fur – for some reason i was early, don’t ask me why as i don’t really know myself… Anyway i walked into what looked like a town hall and came across a bunch of young things tearing it up. All i really remember to be honest was a stick like singer screaming into a microphone and a girl playing the keyboards like it was both the first and last time she would ever do such a thing. I asked around and found out the band were called Hot Vestry…Is that a good name? Who cares…"

When The Guardian (UK) Newspaper puts a band on the cover of their entertainment supplement and announces them as the pioneers of the “New Wave of New Rage”, then it’s time to reassess the current British music scene.

Preston’s Evil Blizzard are stretching the boundaries and imaginations of music above and beyond the turgid manufactured dross polluting the current airwaves. A mixed bombastic bass driven assault of the senses, has had the music media singing their praises, whilst also simultaneously scratching their heads in disbelief.

Four basses, who amongst their ranks, boast the #49 on the Kerrang ! “50 Greatest Rock Stars in the World…of 2014” in the shape of Filthy Dirty. Who alongside Kav, Stomper and Prowler are completed by Side, their singing drummer, a baby’s head Theremin and the ever so unhinged ladies favorite, the “Blizzpig”.
