Mutant Radio (Tbilisi, GE) monthly residency, episode #32, December '23. As the winter cold kicks in, here's one hour of Enno Velthuys. Not much is known about Velthuys, a somewhat obscure character in the world of Dutch electronic music. He released four tapes in the ‘80’s, three of them on the EXART cassette label from IJmuiden, ran by Hessel Veldman and Nick Nicole. Velthuys was a hermit, creating beautiful melodic ambient in the bedroom of his mother’s apartment. Some pieces are reminiscent of a classic dungeon explorer game while others may have a more surreal, cinematic feel. Sadly Velthuys passed away in 2009.

Another RUBBER TIJD, and this time with sonic explorer, producer and live performer Marco Segato. Operating under various monikers (La Serpiente, MS and Narvalo), we had the pleasure of him opening our first event at Garage Noord under his original name. Often described as "kind of Enigmatic", in a shocking coincidence, recent rumor has it that he is the unwanted son of Michael Cretu (aka Enigma).

Beneath a horizon that is forever out of reach, Marius unveils uncharted sonic territories through his Youtube channel that keeps growing out of proportion.
