The French has introduced Daft Punk and an abundance of electronic music producers over a period of time to the world. We go far beyond the historical Eiffel Tower and take a quick look at one artist, producer, and DJ that France has honorably contributed to the dance scene.

We give five stars to an ambitious individual, the one who holds the bright light underground on a DJ level, appearing on various Beatport Top Ten Charts, and at small to medium size venues in local France. For nearly 20 years Joachim J has united clubbers from France and Belgium with his wide range of electronic styles. A vinyl junkie at heart, this guy spends a lot of his free time looking for rare vinyl when he is not in his man cave producing his next big release.

In 1997 Joachim J became a resident DJ at The Punch Hornu in Belgium, making him the French reference in regards to Progressive House and Trance music. Joachim provided the energy for many famous guests following the path of many french prestigious forerunners like David Guetta or Martin Solveig.

In 2001 Joachim collaborated with La Bush on various tracks in which a few have ranked number one in Belgium. Works include “Sanctuary,” “Space Touch, “Trancedollars,” “P.O.V (Persistence Of Vision),” and “Money” released on Enigma Records and CO2. Current material can be found on labels AV8, Crack4DJ’s, Octane Recordings, Big Mamas House Records, Professional Rockstars and many more.
