Frenchman Joachim Pastor returns to Hungry Music with an adventures two-track release. He hijacks us deep into the woods, where the extremely talented producer lights a firework of gorgeous sounds. The title track “Taïga” features Joachim’s signature thick basslines and mesmerizing synth pads. A cleverly structured groove provides the composition with a strong back backbone, while the snappy hi-hates infuse great amounts of energy.

Up next is the hypnotic “Amazone” tune. Joachim ties a tight net of reverb and delay effects around the constantly morphing Marimba melody, which is backed backed by an array of heavenly string and pad sounds. An effective low-frequency layer makes this a bliss to listen to on a decent sound system.

Releasing music for over a decade, John Monkman's latest productions have pushed him into the limelight and onto the dance floor. ‘Make Noize’ is his latest release which, by landing Last Night On Earth, makes further acknowledgement to his role in the international electronic dance music sphere. The EP as a whole is an eclectic journey, as ‘Mad Hatter’ and ‘Make Noize' create a galactic atmosphere through bold textures, while ‘INAWIO’ invokes something a little closer to Earth.

The seventh EP of the label will be by the name of the Bolivian, Barcelona based, producer IVA (@ivamusic). The EP consists of three originals of which the title track is in collaboration with Vero Pérez on the vocals. Besides the talented producer Arude (@arudeofficial) managed to create an intriguing remix.

The title track of the EP is called ‘Distorted’. It’s an driving track with captivating vocals. When the driving synth and the vocals are coming together, an energetic moment is created which swallows you into the track.

Joachim Pastor was 4 when he first discovered the world of music. After studying at Versailles Conservatory, he took part in many bands before starting to produce his own music. His fast progession allowed him to stand out as a unique talent, soon well identified for his pop and melodic influences.

In 2014, he creates the label Hungry Music with his friends Worakls and N’to and that enables him to produce his music just the way he wants it, thus offering powerful vocals, coloured beats as well as a tactful touch of guitar. His upcoming album, gathering loads of exclusive featurings, is the next step of an already very promissing career.
