Let Go (ft. Kele & MNDR) (Krystal Klear Remix)

'Faucon makes his return on 90watts for what will be his third solo release on the label. We guess a lot of you still have his latest 'Where Will You Go?' single fresh on your mind, not in the last place because of the fantastic Mihai Popoviciu remix that came with the pack.

His latest is titled 'Fantome', a proper piece of dancefloor candy which combines tribal / afro percussion with fierce melodic synth lines designed to make you move.

First up on remix duties it's the infamous Forteba, king of deep house and Plastic City legend. Keeping the melodic vibes of the original going on but a bit more in a smooth direction, this is simply lovely!

The second remix is provided by mister Boom Room and mister Exoplanets Jochem Hamerling. Does who have heard is recent Stretch Mark single know what to expect; big deep rolling tech house sounds!'

After a variety of EP's, the album and some exclusive NFT's released via the RCRDSHP platform, we're happy to show you the first of what will be four remix singles for Jaap Ligthart's debut album 'Itaka'. Stepping into the spotlight are Skenna and Jochem Hamerling, making this first remix single an all Dutch affair!

Skenna kicks things off with his infectious and driving remix of 'Kein Schluss'. Quite ironic that the album's closing track is actually the one we begin with, but I guess that's how we roll.. A proper dancefloor pleaser this one, genre defying and not easy to pigeonhole (so let's not do that, shall we?).

Up next we welcome Jochem Hamerling on remix duties for the song 'Swaying Trees'. Proper tribaliscious booty shaking deep house music right here, need we say more? A very strong remix with clever usage of the original melodic theme in the breaks, super effective!

Since we realized "Your Secret is Safe With Me", we trusted Gueva from the very first beat. This stomping offbeat opener with its powerful snare alongside the arp and very impressive industrial effects got us from the very first moment. Making an almost invisible transition to the second track "Baile" - a melodic vocoder killer for the floor – we come along to "Des Apego". A hymn with a big character, a huge impact. 

This earworm also infected label boss Marc DePulse and inspired him to produce two versions of his remix. In a special way two typical DePulse interpretations: One for the club, another one for the chill. All in all we got five times magical vibes. Choose your favourite fish food and hand out the treats! One of the most charismatic pioneers of UK dance music, Skream, is back on the visionary label that is Crosstown Rebels. The momentous ‘You Know, Right?’ has been avidly searched for since it’s inception and will finally be released in November 2016.

This two track EP contains two innovative productions from the musical chameleon, pushing the boundaries of genre once again with breakbeat percussion, potent keys and a garage style vocal on the monstrous ‘You Know, Right’. The EP also features the techno soundscape ‘Minor Smooth’ on the B-side, which also is going down a storm.

We last saw Skream on Crosstown Rebels last year with the epic ‘Still Lemonade’, which gained high critical acclaim. More recently he has been releasing on his label Of Unsound Mind and as a sought after remixer on labels such as Boysnoize Records, Hot Creations and Watergate Records.
