Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Weich wird man wohl – allmählich und zwangsläufig – nach sechzig Malen oder fünf Zigjahren Montagssorbet. Da erfreuen wir uns am Händedruck und nicken am Kopf ganz affirmativ, wenn drei zierliche Buchstaben so ziemlich die Fußstapfen eines fantastischen Jahresabschlusses verzeichnen: @RSS Disco stehen am Schäumer, denn heute gibt's Sorbet mit Mélange à trois.

#060: RSS Disco - Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise

SNOE sets the summer off with a massive various artist release, filled to the brim with energetic high quality techno and tech house. SNOEflakes #4 delivers an exquisite selection of tracks suitable for every possible moment between the massive festival stages and a smaller, more intimate venues. Not Usual takes the lead with “Freaks”, and the guys are not holding back. Intense percussions and a fierce synth comes together in this track holding proper punch. Alec Troniq is back with his unique, dirty and captivating sound, and “Snus Blues” rolls over you like a bulldozer of groove underlining funky blues inspired elements. 

One of two new additions to the SNOE family is Vlada Asanin. Based between Serbia and Spain this guy delivers a monster of a tune, and “eXtra Large” gives you as promised a massive bassline and proper  drum work. Pischinger & Dermota makes up the second new artist addition to the SNOE catalogue, and “Follow Me” perfectly rounds up the release as a force of techno, synth meeting percussions and a darkness to it that makes it prickle under your skin. Enjoy the newest SNOEflakes!

Die Ideen zu der neuesten EP vom Gespann @buchneroberst stammen ursprünglich aus einem Pool von Track-Entwürfen, die ursprünglich mal für ein Album gedacht waren. „Die Tracks sind etwas anders als unsere bisherigen Veröffentlichungen, weniger auf den Dancefloor ausgerichtet, eher experimenteller mit vielen Pop-Einflüssen“, erzählen Andreas Buchner und Sebastian Oberst, „wir haben uns da eher ausgetobt, viel ausprobiert. Vermutlich spielen da poppige Einflüsse aus unserer Kindheit eine gewisse Rolle, die wohl aber eher unbewusst mit eingeflossen sind.“ Herausgekommen ist die 3-Track-starke „Emile“. „Greg“ kommt daher wie ein Breakbeat-Bad voller sommerlichen Akkorde. Es ist ein melodischer Track mit spirituellen Gefühlen geworden. (...) Veröffentlicht wird die EP am 19. Juni 2017 auf dem Imprint @freeridemillenium. (...)

Oberst & Buchner - Greg

Hamburg duo Adana Twins have locked in their next release with the celebrated Berlin-based Watergate Records, handing over three originals and two remix offerings for their upcoming EP, 'Flower Of Cane'.

Their title track lands on Mixmag today, exploding out of the gate with a dark, sinister-tinged sound that melds in a devilish harmony with the Adana Twins' now signature rumbling and grinding techno take. Hooking listeners in with one, consistently rising note, 'Flower Of Cane' crashes upwards into a charged crescendo at its very peak.

The EP is out on Watergate Records on June 19.

Our guest for this 89th edition lives in a small, mountainous republic situated in the Balkans, in Southeastern Europe, Montenegro. The dj and musical producer Stefan also known as Two-S (@deeptwos)is a music and photography lover who have been doing a solid work - delivering rhythmic and effective tracks in several electronic labels - probably will catch your attention.

From head to toe, from south to north, from east to west, going backward and forward, the podcast includes energetic melodies, marvelous interludes,  directing our journey to those places where we found several surprises along the way, such as small hidden ethnic background surrounded by cathartic moments.
