Welcome! 
...to a very rare and elusive location, with many great moments for real music lovers who dare to venture deeper and thus discover.

These are just a small taste of the secret, hidden, epic songs that no one really knows. I recommend giving each track at least a second and third listen. They are not mainstream and take a small, but worthwhile, amount of reacclimatisation.

They were written in the strange passages of my troubled mind, and recorded in various places (which were decidedly non-"professional"), with the help of some amazing musicians who insightfully saw the potential of the creations.

Primarily, in the earliest years, my truely talented younger cousin and closest friend, Matthew Watters.
He was the first person to show me how to play chords on the guitar, shared with me the magic of singing vocal harmonies with someone who actually gets it, intrinsically!
He challenged me to always push myself to write better songs than his latest creation, and it was with him I started my first band, 'Sometimes' in 1993.
I continued writing and performing beautiful songs with Matt, up until he left the planet, back in 2004. 

I have never found his equal, and will never stop missing the joy of playing our songs together.

More recently, and most notably, my excellent friend, Ben Nicholls, who plays all the keyboards and synth tracks when they appear on these songs, programmed some of the drums, recorded and mixed many of the tracks, and helped shape them (and me) into more acceptable creatures, when they/we veered too far towards insanity.

There are also other amazing musicians on these recordings (and the songs not yet posted) to whom I will always be extremely grateful, and will attempt to credit explicitly in the coming weeks, months and years.

I have realised that life is short, and there's only so long you should keep hiding dark but shiny things in your bedroom.
