Originating from the southwest city of Plymouth, Chakhan have been steadily providing the champion sounds of UK Bass, Garage and DnB for the past 4 years since they formed their duo alias. Their sound has developed across genres over the years, showcasing the highlights of underground music; most recently focusing on Drum and Bass and 140. Their consistent use of vocals in tracks, from chops to features and the exploration of different sub genres has provided a unique take on more minimal and low end heavy productions. Expect a full range of sonics from techy bass to powerhouse horns whilst still providing that Chakhan sound.

After joining the Playaz family in 2014 the BassBrothers have gone on to create a name for themselves within the world of Drum&Bass. With the ethos of replicating and honoring vintage sounds, clever sampling and keen production chops are clearly the cornerstone of their sound so much so that it’s caught the ear of artists within the full spectrum of dnb from Noisia to Dj Marky. 
As Djs, their fresh approach on Drum&Bass as one makes their DJ sets an essential journey across all sub-genres, with smooth and energetic blends from all styles, new to old, classics to exclusives - showing not only some effortless 3deck mixing but also quite an original take on the subject which will certainly please most dnb heads weather you care about sub-genres or not.
