19-year-old ascending talent Hector Cortes kicks off the Super Progressive Protostar Mix Series.

Hector is a Mexican artist who began his musical career at the age of 13, influenced by the renowned international DJs Hernán Cattaneo and Nick Warren.

Despite his young age, Héctor has extensive experience playing in some of the main clubs in Mexico, in his city Guadalajara, including Bar Américas, Casa Cobra.

At his young age, and with only 2 years in the world of production, Hector has only been on several labels since last year, including 3rd Avenue, Stellar Fountain, Musique de Lune and One Of A Kind.

From his first steps in electronic music to date, Héctor's productions have received support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Patrice Baumel, Eelke Kleijn, Miss Monique.

One of my favorite quotes is ‘Words can only affect you to the degree in which you think they are true.’ Now, recently since I've been DJing more, I've been getting some messages saying you're not a real DJ or you're only getting these gigs because you have a lot of followers or you're the problem, you're what's wrong with the scene. And this used to affect me, but it absolutely does not affect me anymore because I know I am putting in the work. I am listening to every single Beatport release. I'm listening to every single promo that comes my way. I'm reaching out to my favorite up and coming producers to get my hands on unreleased music that nobody else has heard yet. When you put in the work, you stop worrying about the opinions of others and you focus more on your own progression. Sander Kleinenberg once told me that a great DJ listens to four thousand tracks and picks the best twelve he think the dancefloor will enjoy most. And that's all I'm focused on. I'm putting in the work. I know you guys are putting in the work too, and because of that, I think this week's mix is my best mix yet. And I really hope that you all enjoy it. We are back behind the decks with a DJ returning for a second spell here. She can stand alongside any of her male peers, with her unique skills, track selection and ability to build a mix. She is no ordinary DJane, this is Julie Petrecca!

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal. Since childhood, Julie is introduced to music as she grows up practically in the recording studio own by her father. He quickly transmits his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter.

In her late teens, she discovered Electronic music and her passion for music grows even more. All these years of musical culture and the well-kept connection to this particular universe, Julie's taste develops in several categories of Electronic music from Underground Deep House, Organic House, Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Techno ... nevertheless Julie prefers the underground sounds!

Since February 2015, Julie hosts her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and Producers from all around the world. She’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’ E N J O Y !

Will C is a London based Organic & Progressive House DJ, playing eclectic sets influenced by underground sounds and global beats. Will’s passion for music was forged in the vibrant 00s Leeds club scene, where he followed iconic DJs like Sasha, Dave Seaman, Danny Howells, 
Laurent Garnier, and Danny Tenaglia to legendary club nights across the UK.

With a foundation in classical music, Will transitioned from vinyl to digital DJing, after starting with progressive house in the early 00s. Today, he specialises in underground Organic House, drawing from labels like Lost Miracle, Shanti Radio, Lost & Found, All Day I Dream, and Anjunadeep. His dark, twisted sets are a sonic journey through oceans, mountains, and deserts, blending old, new, and classic tracks into a compelling experience. 

In 2024, Will launched ORGANICA at Folklore, Hoxton - a night dedicated to showcasing Organic House music with talented DJs and producers from across the UK. The event aims to become a cornerstone of London’s Organic House scene, with plans to expand to larger venues and international locations.

With a deep rooted love of dance music in lots of forms, spanning many years from the 80's to the current date.We are still heavily involved in the electronic music scene, still loving getting our hands on the latest tracks.
