Itamar Simão, conhecido regionalmente como DJ ITA, é um dos fundadores da label Progressive Connections. Seu som tem como características centrais um som progressivo, melódico, orgânico e extremamente contagiante.

Iniciou seu projeto há cinco anos, dando vida a festas de amigos e a eventos de finais de semana em sua região. Devido à qualidade de som que apresenta, seu público tem gradativamente aumentado.

ITA é conhecido especialmente na região do extremo oeste catarinense, sendo reconhecido como uma força jovem da música eletrônica e que tende à ser expoente tanto nas pesquisas das músicas quanto na apresentação em casas de shows e baladas, provendo à todos sua música de qualidade, requisito para bons apreciadores de techno e vertentes similares.
