At a time when I became somewhat disillusioned with our scene, so many tracks sounding the same, producers following a formula for recognition and commercial appeal. I started digging deeper and wanted to create a less ordinary sounding mix than what I was currently playing. Hence the new name, hence the new sound... 

A Life Less Ordinary was born in 2008, a decade before I joined Saturo Sounds and 15 years to this month back in more youthful times. 
This mix has never been hosted online, so i hope you can enjoy it as much as I did creating it on vinyl and CDJ's,

After a 2-year hiatus, "TIME OUT" is back to envelop you in a cocoon of tranquility. This episode is quite a minimalist endeavour, designed to be your auditory sanctuary. With a low energy level, it's the perfect backdrop for sleep, meditation etc..

Rodrigo Maidana is a DJ/Producer, born in Rosario, who began his career as a DJ in 2019, being mainly influenced by Deep House and Progressive sounds.

In this short career he has already shared a booth with the scene's best DJs and has played on the best electronic music platforms in Argentina. In his DJ sets, Rodrigo combines songs from the Deep house, Dub Techno and Progressive House genres, blending them seamlessly with a high level of groove and emotion.

Rodrigo has recently been sharing the decks with the likes of Paul Deep, Nacho Varela & Cruz Vittor, NiceShot, Alex Orion & Budakid amongst others, at various top level events around South America, and we can currently listen to his latest mixes on Progressive House Argentina and on  the brilliant Electronic Groove (EGE) Podcast.
