Cincinnati Hip Hop: OG Legends Edition A Playlist Curated by @WhatUpWally?

The Cincinnati hip hop scene is in the middle of new golden era. This young generation of emcees, DJs, dancers, musicians, and artists are creating a truly unique, innovative, and and diverse local scene that is refreshing and inspiring.

However, most of our young artists and fans are ignorant about our strong hip hop tradition and relatively unaware of the many OG Legends of the 80s, 90s, and early 00s that layed the foundation and continue to produce quality music.

The Whatupwally? crew has spent a good amount of time curating a soundcloud playlist that pays homage to the greats and provides an [incomplete] introduction to Cincinnati's rich tradition of dope hip hop!

This playlist is in no way meant to be exhaustive or a definitive representation of our tradition.

We are limited by what is available Soundcloud and limited by our own ignorance of all the whos, whens, wheres, and whats.
