Causing a stir amongst legions of Tritonians when it was dropped during their appearance at Electric Zoo in New York, ‘Follow Me Home’ is the perfect introduction to the imminent release of their second EP ‘Metamorphic II.’

Created by the musical partnership of Maurizio Vitiello and Gianni Pellecchia, BAUNS is the primary vehicle for the duoʼs work. Having worked separately for many years, cutting their teeth on the Italian techno circuit, the pair came together in 2007 to form the label as a response to the desire to have complete creative control of their work. Originally released as part of Maurizio Vitielloʼs Eletta EP in May 2008, the three tracks that appear on this latest release have been lovingly reworked by some of the most in demand names in techno. Opening up the EP is Uto Karemʼs remix of UFO. Picking out the key elements from the original, Karem adds his trademark rolling grooves and slightly off centre atmospherics to make a punchy, functional cut. Legend Rino Cerrone brings his own distinctive style to Phisical Extension with that classic Cerrone “bump” and swagger powering along an infectious groove that builds and builds and just doesnʼt stop Finally Danilo Vigorito, one of the most renowned founders of the Neapolitan techno school brings a deeper shade of funk to My Wife with his low-down tribal groove and subtle shimming brass hook.

Zeds Dead have just released their brand new 5 song "Hot Sauce" EP via Diplo’s Mad Decent.The follow-up to last year’s Mad Decent EP, Victor, features 5 instrumental tracks that find the duo exploring more sonic territory with their music, further proving that they are one of the most versatile electronic groups around. From the opener, “Demons”, a nightmare inducing track with heavy, pulsating synths as well as keys and strings plucked straight from classic horror films to “Mr. Sub”, which displays a more minimalist approach from the duo with a bouncing bass and touches of space-disco synths and “Rave” a breakbeat monster that hits so fast they put in an audible breaths to remind listeners to take one themselves.
