Sidney Charles & Santé have teamed up again to forge the 'Forever EP’ on Hot Creations with Russ Yallop on remix duty. Those that have witnessed their epic sets playing together will know the vibrant energy they create and this latest offering stands stead to them.

The title track ‘Forever’ uses dynamic claps, an indelible beat and a simple but effective vocal that ties all the elements together. With a playful production technique at its heart, this is a cut made for summertime. Things get a little darker with ‘Mogli’, morphing high-pitched, glitchy sounds alongside a hissing beat. On the flip side, Russ Yallop remixes ‘Forever’ to make the whole track bounce with a heavy and thick bassline.

Hamburg-born Sidney Charles has only been releasing music for four years but has already had a string of successes on labels such as 8bit, Moda Black, AVOTRE and VIVa. Berlin-based Santé is also involved with all areas of music as he DJ’s, produces, and is building on his own record label AVOTRE. Sidney Charles & Santé have previously released on Hot Creations with ‘All Night Long’ on the ‘Hot Summer Jams’ album.

Russ Yallop is a key member of the underground house scene and  is no stranger to Hot Creations; he has previously released ‘Traffic’ and ‘System Crank’ with them, whist also regularly DJing at their worldwide events. He is also an established member of the Crosstown Rebels family after first releasing with them in 2010.

Premiere: ANOTR - What Is House [Avotre]

Dutch maestro Franky Rizardo makes his debut on Saved with a 2 Track EP. First up is “Get Some Love” which features a cleared sample of the famous “Some Lovin” by Liberty City from back in 1992. Built upon a pounding kick, swinging hats and an oscillating bass line, the vocals filter in and take the track up another level with their catchy hook and build alongside the drum rolls for an intense drop. Completing the release is “Power Flanger”, a bass heavy bomb which is drowned in modulation to great effect and commands a lot of attention.

"It was at the age of 14 that Little Mike had his first encounter with turntables. His brother lead the way, but it wasn't long before Little Mike found his own. With hip hop, funk and R'n'B influences, he started taking part in scratch and hip-hop competitions. 

It was during a competition in 2000 where he first met and subsequently joined the Skratch Action Hiro collective, before founding Birdy Nam Nam with three of its members. The group went on to win the DMC World Championship when Little Mike was only 18 years-old. 

Faithful to his influences, he unveils his 'Time To Check In' hip-hop mixtape, consisting of all his own productions. Just something to whet your appetites before the release of his debut solo release via Bromance Records in April."
